This pumpkin soup recipe has added
carrot for its sweetness and the right amount of spice to complement it.
(Green juice = greens of choice, can add apple and
carrot for sweetness).

For this recipe, the
carrots are roasted to bring out their extra
sweetness, and the onions are sauteed in a mixture of coconut oil and tahini.
For this reason you should omit the avocado and
carrot which will aggravate you due to an excess of oil and
sweetness.
I cram a liter cilinder full of kale, red cabbage,
carrots etc together with zante currants other dried fruits
for sweetness.
For carrots in particular this lends to a rich
sweetness with a nutty flavor.
They look a little like cupcakes thanks to that dreamy coconut whipped cream, but the ingredients are actually very wholesome (whole grain spelt flour, almond milk, a flax «egg», a little coconut oil, lots of shredded
carrots, and some coconut sugar

I swapped sweet potatoes

sweetness is a little jarring so I wouldn't recommend it.
For this particular recipe I don't because I find the natural

carrot base, the texture is moist but fluffy, the turbinado sugar on top gives them an extra bite of crunchy

So I started there and then added maple syrup and molasses
for sweetness, cinnamon / ginger / nutmeg to spice it up, and real grated
carrot.
When I was testing out the recipe
for this
carrot breakfast loaf, I really enjoyed how the natural
sweetness of the
carrot emerges.
There's also a lot of fresh ginger and garlic in here
for extra flavor,
carrots for texture and
sweetness, and my homemade vegetable stock
for lots of depth (I use porcini powder in my veg stock that adds an umami quality).
For the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, the appropriate ingredients include
carrots and sweet potatoes, with the added
sweetness of fresh and dried fruits.
I would personally go
for the
carrots since it has that same
sweetness and crunch that bell peppers have when cooked.

I hadn't thought to add
carrots for a little
sweetness — great idea.
Mix puréed
carrots, squash or pumpkin into waffle or pancake batters
for a touch of natural, whole - food
sweetness.
I used
carrot in this recipe
for sweetness and lemon to brighten it as well as add a boost of Vitamin C. Black pepper is used in this recipe to enhance the bioavailability of the turmeric and make sure you absorb all the benefits.
And I always add a lemon.The
carrots I use
