Please keep in mind that if you have a severe
case of leaky gut syndrome, probiotics may not work well for you and you'll probably never * fully * recover.
And, you may be like me, initially avoiding all wheat and dairy to improve your digestive health, especially if you have
a case of Leaky Gut Syndrome, one of the main reasons why I almost certainly believe that many people avoid gluten in the first place.
Not exact matches
So, another reason why iron might be low is in the
case of leaky gut, or malabsorption
syndrome, so this can occur in somebody with inflammatory bowel disease, or celiac disease, where the intestinal cells are just not able to absorb as many nutrients, or somebody with IBS, so, just generally sluggish digestion, inefficient digestion, perhaps a lack
of stomach acid, or a lack
of those digestive enzymes that help us absorb our food.
A change
of diet will also be required in all
cases, as some
of the foods you may have eaten over time are more than likely to have contributed to
leaky gut syndrome manifesting.
I found that most
of the time, these
cases had severe
leaky gut syndrome as an underlying root cause
of whatever other issues they were dealing with.
If you are gluten intolerant or have
leaky gut syndrome, your body produces antibodies to tag gluten proteins for removal — and because the thyroid gland structure is so similar, thyroid tissue is tagged and attacked too in a
case of mistaken identity.
