Not a fan of coffee so I added 2 tbsp of maple syrup and
cashew butter to the
frosting which made it super creamy and disguised the taste of my not so ripe avocado.
I included a second recipe for the
frosting using
cashews and maple syrup which is also very delicious and works just as well as the maple
butter.
I bet some dandies marshmallows + crushed nuts would be a delicious rocky road inspired version, or you could even omit the cacao powder and substitute in powdered peanut
butter and dip them in a chocolate
cashew cream «
frosting», for a peanut
butter cup version.
I added caramelized
cashews because they are my new favorite decoration for any type of cake, and the
frosting is a mix of vegan whipped cream and
cashew butter cream
frosting.
