We just have to be wary of building
castles out of sand, because you know what can happen to those...
When your preschooler joins the other kids in the sandbox to create
a castle out of sand, sticks, and leaves, he's not only exploring a fantasy world, he's learning complex, real - world rules about sharing, social interaction, and resolving conflicts.

of sand to dig your toes into and build
castles with.
At the place the locals call Chick's Beach, you will find excellent views and a wide swath
of sand where you can spread
out a blanket or build a
sand castle.
Once I realized that, I got
out of the
sand castle building business.
Eventually, we will find
out if our
castles are made
of sand.
