Infections, Calculi (forms into
cat bladder stones) and Neoplasms (abnormal cell growth such as cancer) in the bladder are the main cat bladder problems.
Cat bladder stones could reliably be assumed to be made of struvite (a matrix of ammonium - magnesium - phosphate).
While
cat bladder stones are not uncommon, there is a way to control their formation through diet and that's the subject of this blog post.
Once you have eliminated

Mucus, crystals and even tiny
bladder stones can clump together to form an actual plug in the narrow male
cat urethra.
