I didn't grow
up eating tamale pie, but apparently a lot
of people did — a Bon Appétit article
caught my eye recently with the headline: «Cornbread Tamale Pie Is the Greatest
Recipe of All Time.»
So I spent last week and this past weekend drifting in and out
of a feverish state,
catching up on several seasons» worth
of Archer and Portlandia episodes, and trying to find new ways
of incorporating bone broth into my diet (hint: developing
recipes while under the influence
of flu medicine is never a good idea).

up.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be playing
catch up and posting some
of those forgotten (but oh - so - yummy)
recipes.
After a long overnight flight home with very little sleep I haven't had the energy for anything much today so I've been
catching up on what's been happening in the blogosphere and planning more
recipes of my own to share soon.
Some
of my dinner rotation staples: the risotto

of the rice jar with some form
of frozen vegetable tucked in along with the onion and white wine, done in 30 minutes while
catching up on email / phone or loading / unloading the dishwasher.
I just spent about 2 weeks away from my computer, my inbox was over flowing, I had tons

recipe testing that I often forgo taking time to sit down with you all (over a cup
of tea or coffee) and just say... hello!
For food blogging however, specific, more descriptive titles are always better as they show
up in internet searches more readily, and besides, any
recipe title that begins with «lemony» always
catches people's attention, and believe me, this dish is deserving
of attention!
I will work at
catching up on all
of your posts, it may take me some time as my family arrives tomorrow and my day is pretty full, but I'll have a super great
recipe for you all Friday!
Hi, I don't know if it's just me or not, but every time I click on the «print» option the next page that comes
up has that «print» option covered by the «subscribe» banner at the top
of the page, and even if I right click and choose «print» option, or if I'm fast enough to
catch the «print» button before the banner turns
up, the banner is then covering part
of the
recipe.
All
of the other

up my alley as well, but if I had to pick one, the Golden French Lentil Soup

I am
