I couldn't skip out on all the festivities so I enjoyed a little sparkling wine while chatting and
catching up with other bloggers!

I have been pretty swamped focusing on building
up my social consulting business + designing a new site for it (stay tuned... I am perfecting the design hehe), being a boss lady ain't easy... let me tell ya haha However, one of my highlights of the long Labor Day Weekend (
other than the amazing sales) was being able to meet
up with some of my
blogger friends — I have been out of commission for a little bit since I've been drowning in work + the blog, but heading to a comedy show + some brunch was the perfect way to
catch up with some of my favorite gals!
This meant that I actually took the time to revisit
bloggers I haven't been
catching up with or just read
other blogs more and comment (something I had been neglecting while trying to run this space).
Some days I feel like I will never get
caught up with blog comments, visiting
other supportive
bloggers, social media, etc..
Normally we just see each
other at the Fashion Week or at
other blogger events, so it was really nice to
catch up with everybody.
Just to
catch you
up to speed if you missed it, myself and four
other bloggers have teamed
up with Lowe's Home Improvement across the country to provide someone
with a Fall Home Makeover.
We had such a fun time meeting
other bloggers,
catching up with friends and even getting a summer pinks and sparkle manicure.
I get to
catch my readers
up on what's going on in my life and I get to
catch up on what's happening
with other bloggers!

It was a blast and great to
catch up with a bunch of
other Chicago
bloggers that I hadn't seen in a while, but by 9, I was ready to hit the hay.
All of the colors of The Saguaro made for some amazing photo backdrops, and I busied myself popping in and out of
other talks,
catching up with blogger friends I rarely get to see, and chatting
with sponsors.
From

bloggers to couch surfing and even
catching up with fellow backpackers from on the road.
