made cauli mash with cream and butter for a while now, only way to get the right consistency, as you point out.
I've made
cauli mash, but I'm not sure what I need for the raw puree.
Not sure you have sold me on the use of
cauli in the custard, but I suppose I will just have to give it a go and try.

There are good ways to
use cauli as a low - carb potato substitute, but this isn't one of them.
Of all the topping combinations I've tried with
cauli crust, Thai chicken pizza, with all of its glorious fresh veggies, cheese, and tangy peanut sauce, is one of my favorites.
Prior to this I'd never really given much thought to roasting cauliflower, but now it's a hot favourite — we have it in salads, tacos, and occasionally even do a marinated and whole
roasted cauli as the main meal.
I've found the best way to cook
cauli for crust is to steam it, then I chop it up fine with my immersion blender, lastly squeezing it to drain.
Mine worked so well with raw cauliflower that I think I'll make these with raw grated
cauli as we'll.
to rice cauliflower perfectly and easily: cut fresh
raw cauli into even floret - size pieces put in blender and add water to cover blend until its ricey (not long) pour into strainer and press out water.
Cauliflower rice: Although it's been available for awhile, my local grocery stores recently started carrying
frozen cauli rice.
If you follow a vegetarian keto diet, you can make it into a complete meal and serve with low - carb vegetables and other ketogenic sides
like cauli - mash.

I've also made cauliflower wings and
cauli steaks, painting the veg with rich and powerful spices like spoked paprika and cayenne.
Unlike many cauliflower crust or bread recipes, you don't need to cook the riced
cauli before forming the patties.
I've
done cauli rice before, but not in a sweet concoction.
It is
grated cauli with besan flour, spices and an egg to create «fritters» which then are shallow fried; wonderful with a yoghurt based tahini & lemon sauce and / or a tomato / herbs / garlic sauce.
Toss
cauli florets in batter until they are well coated, then pour in glass baking dish (sprayed with non stick).

I didn't have brussels so I roasted some
