the cauliflower steaks with olive oil.
The goal with
cauliflower steaks is to keep the cauliflower stem intact, so you can cut thick «steak» pieces instead of a bunch of florets.
I've tried several times to make
cauliflower steaks.
You can totally make these vegetarian gluten free buffalo
cauliflower steaks completely vegan simply by swapping out the honey for maple or agave, omitting the blue cheese and drizzling it all in a vegan ranch dressing, instead.
Now the best way to showcase
these cauliflower steaks is to cook them on a grill.
Not only does a recipe like my vegetarian gluten free buffalo
cauliflower steaks perfectly imitate the meatiness of a steak, but it's so simple to slather on your fav sauces to easily switch up whatever you're into any night of the week.
Grill

I realized afterwards that this dish is actually pretty close to
my cauliflower steaks with lentils and this same sauce.
I rubbed two

Cauliflower Steaks with Cilantro Pesto This

I also have a one - sheet meal for
these cauliflower steaks with roasted root veggies.
I knew this pesto would pair perfectly with
the cauliflower steaks.
You can serve
these cauliflower steaks as a main or filling side dish to vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
This is an incredibly easy recipe to make, but some caution should be taken when cutting
the cauliflower steaks.
Although
these cauliflower steaks require a few dishes, they are relatively easy to prepare.
If you have had some of
my cauliflower steaks the pesto on that is very similar to the dressing on this salad.

Cauliflower steaks are good by themselves - this is even better.
The cauliflower steaks themselves were very good and easy to make - doubled the recipe and had them the next night, very tasty - the beans and tomatoes where ok, you can have any side here with this dish.
One of my favorite dishes to whip up when I need to serve something on the fancier side, but am short on time, is
cauliflower steaks.
Because
cauliflower steaks are lighter and less rich than the braised veal shank that gremolata traditionally goes with, I add the rest of avocado, leftover from making the mixture to brush onto the
cauliflower steaks, to my gremolata, as well as a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent browning, and some salt to make all the flavors pop.
My favorite way to cook
cauliflower steaks these days is to first pan-sear them and then finishing cooking them in the oven.
