causing pupils to take to social media and make misleading comments through trying to predict their grades.
Mr Gove told MPs that previous course specifications «were too vague» and had
caused «suspicion and speculation that some
exam boards were «harder» than others».
OCR's chief executive, Mark Dawe, said his
exam board was determined to avoid a repeat of last summer, and had embarked on a vigorous recruitment drive as well as adding extra capacity to the software platforms that
caused problems in 2014.
Ofqual said the number of errors in some
exam boards» materials was «noteworthy», and it was seeking assurance from all
boards they had «identified the
causes» and taken steps to reduce their occurrence.
The RAD says this has
caused problems for its own ballet examinations and is also an issue for children taking dance, drama and music
exams with some other
boards.
Exam boards do not take the blame for the damage they
cause and the government does nothing about it.
