Adelaide could be the next to join the list but as a central
attacking midfielder, I think he will likely play as third choice back up behind Mesut Ozil and Santiago
Cazorla, mainly featuring
in domestic cup competitions.
He is not just all about
attack either, because
in the last year or so the boss has been using him
in a deeper lying central
midfield role and
Cazorla has proved very adept there, better than Arteta to be honest.
Like I always say, there are certain players that can fit into Wenger's philosophy but he fails to get those kinda players IMHO Players that have excellent technicality ala
Cazorla both
in defence,
midfield and
attack especially
midfield so the failure is
in identifying and getting the right players for the system

in the squad is not as good as it seems... sure

Midfield role for the Gunners, rather than being stuck out wide as he was for much of last season.
Sanchez on the right further from the goal with enough space to explode forward
in quick
attack,
Cazorla on the opposite side with room to man the Central
Midfield like he has always done, opposite action from Sanchez... the two can interchange wings as they are both very apt from both wings, with a telepathic understanding with Sanchez more amenable to move the ball forward from the deep but
Cazorla more amenable to defend from the deep.
Cazorla was mostly a winger or an
attacking midfielder but Wenger moved him to the central
midfield, and his influence
in any Arsenal game is so vital nowadays that him missing
in the side is believed to have lost Arsenal the Title
in 2015/16 season won by Leicester City.
The bottom line this summer
in Arsenal signings is Le Prof MUST sign a top quality holding /
attacking midfielder of Goretzka's caliber to fully complement his entire starting XI team next season and just limits himself to the signings of Kolasinac and Lacazette alone which if he does without signing a top quality holding /
attacking midfielder, his starting XI team next season could be understrength at
midfield as Santi
Cazorla won't be available
in the first half of the season and Elneny can't be relied on to deliver high performances for Arsenal on consistent basis.
I keep saying give
Cazorla his No10 position and we will look more dangerous, Ozil is just getting away with it season

YES e Coq has proven that he CAN do the job, but has yet to prove he WILL do the job all season long and even then its a tall order to expect no suspensions or injuries to befall him, Arteta, Flaminni Chambers and Wilshire are all second rate
in the DM position and
Cazorla doe not shine there as he's an
attacking midfielder by nature so its the cheaper option YET AGAIN!!!!! iM NO hafiz Rhaman who parrots the «Spend spend spend» Mantra all day long but EVERYONE and thie dog knows what we need and what should be done so AW pull your finger out and get to it, stop thinking cheap and nasty and bring somereal glory back to the club you purport to love so much.
I feel that since we have lost our key pairings

Flamini isnt the best player we have but he is the only

I still don't understand people's obsession with boxing players
in to a specific role... The whole «true DM» is a dying breed, even Coquelin is arguably something else considering the advanced positions he takes up often
in front of Santi and takes major risks
in winning the ball back for us... IMO, the reason Coquelin has had such a successful integration into the first team is that he focussed incredibly hard on the basics of his role first and foremost before adding other elements to his game (long - balls, driving runs into space, more aggressive ball movement
in general) it's not rocket science to tell a player to curb the
attacking side of their game and focus primarily on defence before
attack... Nor is it that hard to see that playing
in a
midfield pairing with either Ramsey or
Cazorla is going to be different as well.

Cazorla last season We missed Coquelin too but we didn't have Wilshere or Xhaka and got Eleney

Cazorla is def top class I like what see from Xhaka too Ozil is the boss
in attacking central
midfield
Gabriel over Mert when you play against a counter team Flamini because with a stronger defensive

in the past, it may be worth paying up for Liverpool
attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling this summer if
Cazorla does leave.
I don't even know why he started Welbeck ahead of Walcott
in the first place, Welbeck was giving away the ball too often on the right and wasn't helping Bellerin
in defence.Bellerin too can't be blameless for being caught out of position many times, he didn't even know who he was marking. The reason why we lost the
midfield battle wasn't because Coquelin didn't do much, the problem was with Ramsey and
Cazorla, they were loosing possesion too often
in our own half giving more room for counter
attack Coquelin alone couldn't contain opponent's pressure for the full 90minutes he needed help too defencively from Ramsey who didn't give him any, Ramsey now sees himself as an AM who could go forward at anytime and ignore his defensive responsibility.Koscielny didn't do much to prevent the second goal.
In Wenger's traditional 4 -2-3-1 formation, Lemar could either take over
Cazorla's role as the deeper - lying playmaker with a licence to roam forward or play on the left wing, but if Wenger decides to stick with the formation he finished last season with, three at the back, Lemar might struggle to displace Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez as one of the two
attacking midfielders, however, that might change if one or both players leave the club.
We have an abundance of

attacking base on the inclusion of Xhaka, and the loss of

midfield, the same can not be said for Xhaka, Ramsay, Elneny and Coquelin.

in front of them), OX, sanchez, giroud.
Now it gets difficult, Santi
Cazorla, his injury probably ended our title hopes this year, we missed his incisive passing and quick feet
in midfield this year, once he was out of the side every
attack seemed so slow, laboured and uninventive, there will be rumours all summer about him returning to Spain, and the sale of Santi would go some way to pretty much pay for Xhaka's transfer, the only thing that would go against him is his defensive contribution is not as great as our other options.

Cazorla — two word class number 10's — so if one gets injured the other comes

Liverpool 4 granted; playing
cazorla in an away match
in he centre of the midfild; it cld stiffle his impact bcos that position requires a lot of enegy; I think coquelin can be good there; or thomas rosicky; bcos I believ we can really hurt liverpool with our
attack but we need 2 protect our backlineand
midfield bcos we r depleted; but mert - chambers - debuchy - gibbs (hope.
