celeriac and parsnips are so uniquely flavored and healthful, it's no wonder that they make for some delicious
mash.
I chose to create a
mash with the
celeriac I purchased.
I cook the
celeriac, sweet potatoes and regular potatoes in the same water at the same time for the
mash topping.
Set aside the
mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and
celeriac for later.
Celeriac, you know that weird looking root that you may have eyed at the store... it makes an awesome
mash.
Try it in
mashed potatoes, by substituting half of the potatoes with
celeriac, or make these super delicious oven - roasted
celeriac fries for a healthier potato alternative.
