There is the drawback that you tend to miss certain bread products, but I think the nice thing about your daughter being diagnosed with
celiac so early is she won't learn to miss wheat products.
My mom had

Hi Anita, oats are actually gluten free however they contain a protein in them which has a similar make - up to gluten
so if you are
celiac you may have a reaction to it.
The same goes for all the rubbish gluten free products that are sold for extortionate prices in supermarkets — they're no better for you than the original product as the gluten is replaced with a whole list of bizarre ingredients,
so unless you're
celiac you're better off either just buying the original product or going with a homemade version without all the rubbish.

I LOVE baking, but I have
Celiac Sprue,
so I generally can't enjoy what I've baked.
My mother (who hates keto / low carb food most of the time) ate 3 pieces before she noticed I was eating it (I'm

so if I» m eating it, it's not «normal») When I told her there was no sugar, grain or many carbs she spent 30 minutes trying to explain how it couldn't possibly be.
