Instead of snipping out a part of a gene and replacing it with something different, Maselko's
cellular machinery leaves the genes as they are, but puts them into overdrive.
So personally, if I already had the disease, and wanted to clean out and retool the
cellular machinery as efficiently as possible, I would choose less saturated fat rather than more and
leave out the oil, again based on what we know of the mechanisms of saturated fat induced insulin resistance.
