An annual
census of unsheltered homeless
individuals called the HOPE
count, which is taken each January, showed at the beginning of this year that the number of unsheltered people on the city's streets had stayed roughly the same, from 3,180 people in 2014 to 3,182 in January of 2015.
February 2012 — A new
census showed an increase in wild Mexican wolf pup births for the second year in a row, bringing the
count of wild wolves up from 50 to 58
individuals, with breeding pairs increasing from two to six.
