Together, these account for 90 per

One
of the many surprising aspects

The Australian dollar has remained in a relatively steady range over the past couple
of years, at levels that are a little above average against the US dollar and about 10 per
cent above average in trade -
weighted terms.
Since the beginning
of 2014, though, the Australian dollar has on average been 18 per
cent below the peaks it reached in 2013, on a trade -
weighted basis.
In the September quarter 2000, the CPI inflation rate was 6.1 per
cent, while the
weighted median inflation rate (before accounting for the effect
of the tax) was 5.4 per

In the March 2016 quarter the overall
weighted average sale price was $ 595,664 but in the latest quarter the price came in at $ 670,861 — a difference
of almost 13 per
cent and the second highest

weight of the US dollar and those currencies which are either directly linked to it or closely managed against it is around 50 per
cent.
