Most of the bullying focus on weight and body shape, with 60 per
cent of young people admitting they tried to change their appearance after being bullied and 24 per cent said they reduced the amount they ate or went on a diet.
The report quizzed more than 8,500 parents, teachers and
young people and found that 52 per
cent of parents and 57 per
cent of teachers have
admitted to making subconscious stereotypes in regards to boys and and girls taking STEM subjects.
