Overall CPI inflation, however, remains at the lower end of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's 1 — 3 per
cent target band, with the currency appreciation exerting a dampening influence.
Not exact matches
Although a number of temporary factors are keeping headline inflation near its 2 per
cent target, our measures of core inflation are in the lower half of the
target band and have been trending downward in recent quarters.
The «2 to 3 per
cent» specification may appear to suggest that the inflation
target in Australia is a narrow
