SFMOMA has had plenty of room to grow since 1995, when it moved from its old Veterans» Memorial Building rental space in Civic Center to permanent quarters designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta.

In conjunction with the popular outdoor screenings in SoundScape Park on the 7,000 - square - foot outdoor projection wall of the New World Center, an extended film program will be presented within Art Basel's newly designed film viewing room inside the Miami Beach Convention Center.

A separate white cube space designed for the exhibition occupies the center of the room, presenting focused selections of works inside the cube, which change seasonally.
