Upon entering the grand central hall within Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof museum, the visitor views Adrian Piper's exhibition from a distance.
In the central General Staff exhibition, five soaring halls with large - scale installations provide an axis.
It is as if the curators saw, following the confusion of the Wohl Central Hall, that playfulness, colour and broad aesthetic affinities were an acceptable way to hang an exhibition space after all.

Opened to the public on October, 3, 1996, the 65,000 square - foot home of the museum includes four exhibition areas and a central hall in which large - scale works by Tinguely are on display.
Heart of Glass in the basement of Shoreditch Town Hall is the central exhibition of the art strand of CONCRETE & GLASS.
The sculptures — curiously lightweight, layered human forms — might seem recognisable from last year's Summer Exhibition, where the artist's colourful, translucent take on classical statuary greeted visitors in the Academy's Central Hall.
A gigantic hanging of 71 different black and white posters forms the focal point of the Holmqvist exhibition, which is situated in the large central hall of the South Wing.
