cereal if he / she
is anemic, but a supplemental source of iron like Ferinsol drops would
be needed.
Adults tend to overestimate the amount of food kids
need to eat, but the recommended serving size for a toddler's snack
is actually quite small: 1/4 cup (57 grams) dry
cereal and 1/2 cup (118 ml) milk (serve low - fat
if your child
is over 2 years old) make a fine mid-morning snack, just as a half a banana and 1/2 cup (118 ml) of milk
are great in the mid-afternoon.

I can promise you that giving that hungry baby

is good

cereals, cookies, and cakes.

need to get you through the morning and

cereal or oatmeal, this might serve to
be a better option.
Instead of the typical
cereal in the morning (that
's slowly killing you and making you fatter), try a bowl of plain greek full - fat organic yogurt (which
is loaded with healthy gut probiotics, healthy fats, AND protein) and add in a handful of fresh, organic berries (or frozen wild blueberries), a handful of nuts such as either almonds or pecans (more healthy fats), and a little stevia or vanilla protein for a little added sweetness
if you
need it.
The amount of wheat bran
needed for protection from other cancers
is still unknown, but based on the health benefits of this food, it may
be wise,
if you
are not sensitive to wheat or gluten, to include several servings of whole wheat grain foods such as bread, pasta, and bran
cereals every day in your diet.
If a cooler and ice
is not available, stick with foods that don't
need to
be refrigerated but will last for a few days, like apples, bananas, oranges, pears, peaches, whole grain
cereals, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, nuts, seeds, and whole grain crackers.
Packaged breakfast
cereals are quite costly compared to cook it yourself oatmeal or even a poached egg on whole grain toast (even better
if you teach yourself how to make healthy whole grain bread) Also I think people overestimate the amount of food they
need.
