Don't get too clever: Sometimes marketers get excited about
a certain story concept or metaphor, but if it doesn't fit the story, it will do more damage than good.

Instead of just promoting a
certain penny stock, they fill their blogs and social media accounts with appealing success
stories to warm you up to the
concept of penny stock trade.
Again, there's not much to the visual flavor of this film, but style is adequate enough to help liven
certain elements up, even though it doesn't much serve selling the depth of this
story concept.
There's a
certain minimalism to this
story concept that is exacerbated by its interpretations own limp areas, but Oscar Wilde's personal
story is as captivating as any of his
stories, particularly during its climax, which shines an almost haunting light on dark secrets and how society interprets them, and establishes a pretty solid deal of potential, done a degree of justice and injustice by either overambitious or lazy storytelling.
As if it's not enough that the characters are kind of unlikable in
certain areas, this narrative that does little outside of simply meditate upon the questionable leads is pretty thin, and that really undercuts much momentum, to where natural shortcomings play an instrumental role in bringing the final product to mediocrity, and yet, I won't go so far as to say that this film's
story concept is completely juiceless, as its portrayal of a nerdy manchild's lifestyle is pretty realistic, if not genuine, and therefore kind of intriguing.
I'm fairly
certain I'll self - publish some of my
stories because I don't see them fitting into agents / editors
concepts of genre, but I'm not in a hurry to do so while I'm working on some of my more commercial work.
So, if there's a sense of nostalgia for
certain characters,
stories or ideas, we'll more than likely create a project or two around those
concepts.
