As I mentioned in the intro, you will be
killing certain types of enemies, opening a set number of chests and basically running around the map doing other trivial things.
You'll have to deal
with certain types of enemies over and over again, and the «environments» that host the redundant battles aren't very interesting.
After all, most of your cards are used for attacks anyway, so choosing a hammer instead of a jump or vice versa is only annoying
against certain types of enemies.
Missions are unlocked via credits and / or the collection of «antibodies», which are collected (presumably - it's not made clear in the game) by killing sufficient numbers
of certain types of enemies.
The artes that you map to the buttons vary with elemental effects, cost in SG, strength against
certain types of enemies and type of arte which in turn affects certain enemies more than others.
Multiple heroes strong or weak against
certain types of enemy, each with their own distinctive personality and weapon set, each working well or not so well with other agents; even in the current build, you can unlock gun and character skins to show off your abilities.
Your warships and submarine, all of which you gain as you progress, come with stats that make them better at taking on
certain types of enemy, but it doesn't really seem to make much different what type you send them against as they just plough through them with ease, usually.
These abilities range from adding new skills like protect or steal, and also increasing damage to
a certain type of enemy.
Each item that you can purchase will work to defeat
a certain type of enemy, and you can use each item only the one time — so be sure to use them wisely!
With the exception of ailments that are specific to
a certain type of enemy (like Rust on a robotic enemy), enemies are not immune to ailments.
Like this week create a level where all you have to do is hold right on the joystick or a level that uses only
a certain type of enemy.
It's a turn - based game, as I mentioned, and your party can face off against several monsters at a time, with attacks that can attack multiple enemies, buff your stats, nerf enemy stats, do more damage to
certain types of enemies — the usual JRPG fare.
Each has different weapons, which are more appropriate to
certain types of enemies.
You're much better off saving your bullets, grenades and rockets for when there's
certain types of enemies, such as flying robots which, funnily enough, are rather difficult to kill with a bike.
