sugar in itself is not a food group.
Ok, now while I
certainly agree that white bread and refined white
sugar are two of the worst things we can be feeding our bodies, I definately don't agree with
avoiding any and all «white carbohydrates».
So while MSG and aspartame in diet foods should
certainly be
avoided, the answer isn't to simply swap them out for
sugar - laden processed alternatives...
If you're physically active, you can
certainly eat more than three fruits a day, but it's still best to
avoid fruit juice and too much dried fruit, such as dates, raisins, figs, and prunes, because they are calorically dense and could elevate your blood
sugar if you eat them in large amounts.

certainly included the heavily - refined
sugars at the store — and brown
sugar among them.
