Painted the walls «Sparrow» gray, took down the fussy curtains, ditched the brass chandelier, then bought a beautiful ivory herringbone sitting chair (on clearance), put it next to a side table topped with my favorite blue lamp and two new coasters, and an estate - sale leather
chair for hubby.

but we rocked him to sleep in the
chair by his bed
for another almost 5 months and then he got so big he didn't care to so we put him in his crib after a nursing session and lay next to crib (one of us, likely my
hubby) until he falls asleep.
My
hubby has been traveling with work quite a bit this year so far so this will be a treat
for him this Valentine's, hence the reason I swapped out the head
chair to his favorite dining
chair in our home to make him feel special, and comfortable!
Originally I was going to get the white slip covers
for them, but was debating over the $ 30 price tag
for just one Now mind you, IKEA has the best priced parson
chairs around, including the slip covers, which are a must in my house, then the
hubby asked if I knew how to make some, which I replied «Yes», he put the slipcovers back on the shelf, and now I will be making them.

hubby would tolerate these but amen
for men who trust the vision!

chair for the Christmas tree room....
My
hubby and I are venturing out to our favorite thrift store in a bit... in addition to hopefully snagging him some dress shirts, I'm crossing my fingers
for anything lamp / wall - hanging / vase / blanket /
chair / otherwise cool.
