I love the look of
chalk painted furniture but have been too scared to attempt it until now!!
Right now, I truly can't afford the much more expensive furniture paints and finishes (Fusion Mineral Paint, General Finishes and» boutique» chalk paints), but I want to start selling my DIY
chalk painted furniture....
Yes indeed, that stuff you put on your hardwood floors to bring them back to life works like a charm on
chalk painted furniture.
And secondly, because I think many people assume that wax is the only option for sealing
chalk painted furniture.

Not exact matches
I chose
chalk paint because it didn't require sanding before we started and I had heard
chalk paint is fairly forgiving when
painting furniture.
Calcium carbonate powder can also be added to regular latex based
paints to make
chalk paint for
furniture or cabinets.

If you rent, rolling out a new mint - green rug or
painting some thrift store
furniture with mint - hued
chalk paint can update your space without breaking the bank — and you can take it all with you if you move!
I always use Annie Sloan
Chalk Paint clear wax, and I use the clear wax on all of the
painted furniture that I do, including the dining table.
I have never tried
chalk paint on a large pice of
furniture, but after seeing this I am going to jump in!
