One thing I've found is that a lot of people skip over
the Challenge mode until they find out that is where some of the weapon attachments unlock.
That's right — one annoying thing about this game is that the match types are all locked unless you play them in
challenge mode until you are able to unlock them.

What Escalation
mode does is task you with taking down a target while introducing interesting variables into the formula, and if you beat the first stage of difficulty then you unlock the next one, and so on
until you reach the fifth and final
challenge.
So, I felt the normal difficulty wasn't
challenging enough, but you can't choose the hardest difficulty
until you've beaten the game at least once (I dislike when games do that), but not only that, the unlockable difficulty limits the amount of times you're allowed to save your game, so there is little chance I'll even bother playing on that
mode.
True to form, there's tons to see and do here, with a cinematic Story
mode (secretly the best DC movie in years, daft though it is), constantly updating Multiverse
challenges, a comprehensive online suite and something we never knew we wanted
until now — AI loadouts.
While the game has a simple story
mode that walks you through a variety of mission types and scenarios, there is also the Slaughter
mode that
challenges you to survive waves of zombies
until your car is destroyed and, probably my personal favorite, the Blood Race
mode that changes things into a competitive race with other drivers.
The
challenge mode that adorns the main menu isn't able to be selected either, as it won't be added
until March.
For a ridiculous
challenge, you can also activate an unlockable
mode that prevents enemies from taking damage
until you're hitting a decent style score.
I found easy and even normal after a while to be slow - paced, and it wasn't
until I unlocked hard
mode where I felt actually
challenged.

mode, but you will not be able to access some of them
