chance like injury, referees and weather conditions, according to his Manhattan federal court lawsuit.

Granit Xhaka has scored two spectacular long range strikes in recent weeks, and looks
like he will get his
chance to impress, with Francis Coquelin currently ruled out through
injury.
I love the fact that Arsenal is a family orientated club where no matter what happens everyone will get a fair
chance to prove themselves, be it because of a loss of form or recovery from long term
injury or even when trying to break into the 1st team from the youth setup However I feel that new high profile signings such as Cech, Reus, (you add who you
like) would lift the moral of the entire team and give many players the confidence in their teammates that is needed when going into big games.
Besides, much
like Jack Wilshere, it seems that Welbeck needs to have a decent run in the side, but that his return also needs to be controlled in order to limit the
chances of picking up yet another
injury.
And same old same old: lack of finishing, discipline, mental toughness, not living up to expectation & dodgy defending,
injuries that once again has derailed to a degree the balance of the team... If Wenger doesn't go some of those things will have to change... Some players are for sure heading out this summer a prime
chance to make some smart moves & promote players for more playing time (
like Iwobi).
Been the same for many years,
injuries, february (cursed month for arsenal), we almost ALWAYS reached the top but always stuck in the same level, same old same old, even this season, Even tho i want to be proved wrong by wenger and his team but i think we will messed it up again, even tho this season is
like the only season for 10 years that we have an actual
chance of winning.
We have a very slim
chance of making it through to knockout stages, but even if we do, we have an
injury plagued squad that needs to beat teams
like Barca, Madrid, Bayern etc..
And even though it looks
like those
injury issues are easing and there is a good
chance the Ox may find himself on the bench more often, the England international is over the moon to see the
likes of Walcott, Giroud and Debuchy coming back, because he reckons that with a fitter squad, Arsenal will be ready to really push on after christmas and put the iffy first half of the season behind us.
This week I'd
like to share the missing link in most of your athlete's training and sports programs that is hindering their performance and greatly increasing their
chance of pain and
injury.
After starting the season in a wide berth,
injuries to the
likes of Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey forced a reshuffle in midfield and Cazorla grabbed the
chance with both hands and has not looked back since.
We were very close to the title last season, even though
injuries robbed us, and with players
like Wilshere back in form and additions
like Alexis, we still have a
chance, plus we'll have Walcott back soon.
Still think City game will tell us where we are if we beat them then with
injuries coming back il maybe start to believe we can win the league... not a better
chance is Wenger going to have to make good on his promise when he signed a new deal to win the league in 2 years, maybe the old fool will get to leave on a high
like ul whiskeynose fergie!!
Every action has risks including inaction, we know that our strike force at the moment is not up to EPL winning quality, inaction means, we are ok with that, we are also ok to take a
chance of
injuries, just
like Welbeck went down Giroud could too, in any case all I am trying to say is that not buying is just as risky and can be even more so than buying.
does anyone think the reports of us getting psg's youngster rabiot are true and if yes is he what we need atm i guessing as he is a big lad he's probably diaby long term replacement i have seen a picture of him and he doesn't look
like a very strong build but i am sure a year in the gym will sort that out he would add much needed height to our midfield and he doesn't seem to be a
injury prone as diaby he has a good general skill set am sure wenger can convince him with plenty of game time any young french player knows wengers rep with youngsters he should jump at the
chance to work with wenger NOW with a bit of strength work he could be a handy d / m also if wenger could mould him to play there,
Finally I can not go past the fact Wenger looks
like he'll be giving the Ox and Jack another
chance, despite the fact both will probably miss at least half of the season due to
injuries.
His lack of playing time is largely due to
injury problems though, as he has only played four games for the under 21s, but now that Danny Welbeck has recovered from his own
injury and with Theo Walcott set to return and joing the
likes of Giroud, Alexis, Iwobi, Lucas Perez and the Ox in fighting for a place in the forward line, I do not rate Akpom's
chances of playing a lot of football for the rest of the season very highly.
Playing Ox in place of Campbell is the same
like playing with 10 men» seeking in the field, I am sorry to say he is helping us by being sidelined, only
injury will force Wenger to leave him were he can't harm our
chances of winning EPL.
It is looking
like we may be saying goodbye to Podolski in January, but the suspension of Giroud and the
injury news on Welbeck may just have given him one last
chance to show Wenger what he can do, perhaps in the centre forward role.
Poor planning coupled with poor management is the reason for our
injuries and also Arsene Wengers unwavering belief in
injury prone players
like Diaby etc is why we have NO
chance of winning the league anytime soon!
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the
likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear
chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I
like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when
injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act
like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he
like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the
injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is
like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Not a
chance in the
likes of Wenger is not going to throw 20 millions out of the window for a striker that has been out with
injury since this winter — for a season loan!
Our
chances of winning a long campaign
like the premier league are negligable without improving our
injury record.
i pray he stay
injury free and given the
chance to be the target man upfront, at least he will gell with ozil, carzola, rosicky etc behind him and other pacy destructive weapons
like walcot, chamberlain, campbell, sanchez beside him.
I do not understand why we do not give the young lad more of a
chance with
injuries to CFs, he may flop
like Akpom but he has been impressive so far and he has found the back of the net...
WIth the the amount of time he's been out and the severity of his
injury, also taking in to account his age, he may never return to be the little midfield wizard we love, his style of play comes from his ability to be able to turn on a six pence and weath in and out of people
like they are ghosts, to go from being told he will never be able to kick a ball again to doing all that would be amazing but what are the
chances.
-- Bellerín came to the stage only because of
injuries, it wasn't Wenger who decided to give him a
chance but he gets the credit
like he planned it all.
It is hard for us to gauge just how much the
injury situation is affecting the Gunners at the minute, but you would have to assume that having the
likes of Koscielny and Cazorla fully fit, and also having the
likes of Walcott, Ramsey and Bellerin available for selection would give us a much better
chance of beating the spuds.
Yes our EPL + ECL
chances are very small so in March the top 4 chase becomes...
like a trophy Then we say»
injuries cost us blah blah» but «with a couple of decent signings» 10 years and counting But at least Wenger did not say «judge me at the end of 3 years» Well not yet anyway, but it's coming
holding
like many other players will have the
chance to play many games, we all know it, s a long season so between players, s
injuries, fatigue, loss of form, league games, cup games, cl games, we need a fully fit squad, by the way our bench didn, t look too shabby yesterday!!
Like Wilshere
injury is their greatest quality because rarely do we have a
chance to see how useless they really are.
i don't think Arsenal deserve or even can catch Chelsea and it is partly due to the fact that arsenal lost against Southampton, Swansea, Man Utd, Spurs and draws with Hull, Liverpool have made the gunners really shaky and partly due to the combination or missed
chances and below average players
like the injured trio who have returned from
injury without «Diaby».
It is widely accepted that Arsene Wenger will be missing a host of first team players due to tiredness,
injury or just simply in need of a rest (
like Alexis) and the PNE manager Simon Grayson thinks his team can play without pressure and is in with a
chance of causing a famous FA Cup upset.
ok we didn, t start well but with a nearly fully fit squad we, ve got better in the last months, ours players seems to come back quicker from
injuries kudos to the staff and we are only one point behind man shitty
like wenger said each week is a
chance to close the gap on chekski and it will happen patience my fellow gunners!!
, Montreal was meant to happen in the summer of that year per agreement has been reached with is club malaga but when Gibbs got
injury and no one to cover he has to come that was why pellegrin (sorry if I murder the name) was angry with the said transfer Therefore, my point is it was not ment to happen the it was by
chance as we all know Wenger don't
like to buy player in winter... but who knows I might also happen by
chance as it was during adebayor transfer too.
like what ox did, waiting long time to get a
chance playing, when walcott get
injuried he wont waste any second of it by giving his very best performance.
Injuries have once again derailed the Gunners» season, and despite a campaign that looked
like their best
chance of major silverware in years, Wenger's side arguably appears to have digressed.
even when he suffered a serious knee
injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a
chance to play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up play talents would been on display for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «
like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled for a position that shouldn't have been theirs for the taking in the first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with playing in North London for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Wilshere I don't believe has any
chance of featuring into this squad and as much as I love his quality his
injury record is starting to look
like Abou Diaby sadly.
We have the worst
injury record in Premier Leaugue for many seasons,»cause stubborn Wenger does not use subtitutes, trains them wrong in trainig, do not rotate, overplays his favorite players o after
injuries, they will be in sartigline up too fast, (Rambo, Willshere, Walcott, Diaby etc.) and plays players in wrong position
like our Diamond Özil, who has shown every time when he plays in his best position, number 10 CAM, he creates more
chances, remember Villa game earlier his season, so Wenger OUT and fast.
And with players
like Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Arteta himself back from
injury, the Gunners have a great
chance to get off the rollercoaster and keep moving onwards and upwards.
It might seem a little unfair on our replacement keeper David Ospina, as the Colombian international has not conceded a single goal in those games against Hull City and Stoke City and has only just been given his own
chance after recovering from the
injury he brought with him to Arsenal from the World Cup finals, but it sounds
like Arsene Wenger is really trying to build a strong competitive spirit between his two main shot stoppers.
Looks
like only an
injury to about half of our squad is what it is going to take for Wenger to finally give Joel Campbell a
chance.
Qualities: Giroud - Hold up (but not against top defenders Tery, Cahil, etc), short pass, hard working, team player, defensive duties (set - pieces),
injuries Benteke - Hold up, short pass, better dribbler, long shots, finishing, positioning, defensive duties (set - pieces), can play with his back to the goal and also drop deep and face the goal when marked weakness: Giroud - very slow, easily marked, poor finishing (not wc finisher), technique Benteke -
injuries, not a hard worker If you look the stats for the since 2012/2013, they have almost similar records except that Benteke scored
like total of 19 goals (correct me if I'm wrong) in his 1st season and also have a decent record against top teams, keep in mind he plays for AstonVilla not Arsenal where you get much more
chances and better players around.
So the thing stands
like - If we win at Galatasray (very possible) and if BvB lose at home (given the number of
injuries, very possible) than we top the group and than have every
chance of drawing (as it stands) Schalke 04, Basel, Zenit, but have also the possibility of drawing Barcelona or Juventus (they are second in their respective group) and given your luck we will somehow still draw Barca.
I
like Wilshire, he is as Arsenal as you can get, he is also in the last year of his contract and has to impress Wenger to earn a new contract, other wise its another player we lose on a free, i believe Wenger would of sold him if he could of so loaning a guy out with a year left on his contract would of been stupid, I hope he does get a
chance to impress and can recapture his form when he first broke into the team and stay
injury free, the season is long and there's plenty of games to give him
It looked
like the Gunners had weathered the storm and were dominating the ball and creating
chances ourselves, and our attack looked better once Bellerin came on as Gabriel had to move inside to replace the
injury hit Mustafi, when we had the setback of a contentious penalty awarded for a foul on Joe Allen by Granit Xhaka.
He previously stated that his
injuries would be no issue if he wanted to race in the top class of endurance racing, and with the
likes of Ginetta entering LMP1 next year
chances are there'll be a seat available for him somewhere — if he wants it.
The Colombian international has no doubt endured a torrid time since moving on loan to Manchester United from AS Monaco, with last season's lengthy
injury layoff looking
like doing some serious damage to his fitness and form, while who knows what missing what was likely his last
chance at a World Cup has done to his confidence.
As well as the
chance for our players to have a little rest, even those heading off with their countries, the break gives the
likes of Coquelin and Giroud the
chance to get over their
injury problems, so Arsene Wenger should have an almost complete squad to choose from when Arsenal take on Swansea City in just under two weeks.
Poor Jack, it seems
like the world stood still and he should just fall in any position he chooses whenever he returns from
injury, if i was jack i would shut my mouth try to stay
injury free, work hard and pray for a
chance to represent arsenal again in what ever position the bosss put him in.
