I tell you from a footballing point of view scoring 8
goals you got have players that know where the goal posts are it takes energy and creativity to score 8 yes I agree vikings changed their players because their league is starting i think tomorrow so yes they were not a big team team but to say that Arsenal were not strong thats a bit to much and I say it again you need energy and creativity to score 8 I was very happy they did that Arsenal are well known for creating chances yesterday they converted them chances into Goals this should be the norm and I hope this will give them a lesson on how to win a game as they did nt dwell about with the ball it was goal after goal and that tells me that they went for the goals directly and I hope and wish the young guns all the best and to do well in the next s

so far is that he's been above 80 % (very low bar) 9 out of the last 10 years and the stats from his first 7 years don't count because it was a long time ago (utter nonsense since the dimensions of the field and

if he had that situation last year he would have did it then too, thats what i'm trying to say, what you are saying is that he had
changed from last year, but he is the same as last year, and to sanchez you implied that he is this good because of the moral impact of the new players and i just do nt believe in that, and thats why i wrote about the 6
goal - streak, he did nt need a moral impact its just that we have a better defense
so that the strikers get a lot more opportunities to attack a defense and not a packed bus after a lucky
goal like last year
I said it last summer and ive been proven sadly right that OG and Theo are just NOT good enough to score the amount of
goals required to win the EP, that situation has NOT
changed and is unlikely to
change this summer as well,
so as I read reports that OG is to lead the line again next season and I feel its unlikely that Wenger will spend any real big money on a proven
goal scoring monster then the same thing will happen again next season.
this season was supposed to be about the epl not fourth place.just seeing how empty the Emirates was yesterday I expect it to be even worse in the upcoming games.wenger blew it in the transfer market, I think that in itself shows how we lacked ambition and we settled for a top four from the beginning and if by a chance we managed to win epl then thats it.lossing some games, crucial points and the feedback we got back was just covering the real
goals of the club top four.soton home (a team challenging has to win this game), Crystal palace, swansea, just add those points and see where we could and should hve been.everyone here is a die hard arsenal fan whether an akb or aob but fact remains we love the club, we want the club to move forward, we want the club to be a superhouse, its got nothing to do with wengers last year or his last chance of epl.this sort of thinking is running our beloved club to the ground.whether u like it or not a
change is needed and a serious one.at the moment we hve
so many bogey teams do u think arsene will beat them nxt season!!!
Hopefully get some early
goals to allow some
changes early in the second off,
so that some of the players can get sometime on the field
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd,
so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through
so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored
goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back
so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks
so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone
so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London,
so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all
change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence...
so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
The formation won't work this season with Giroud out till after Xmas and with Wenger spending
so much on pace for the wings, our style of play will have to
change or we won't be scoring any
goals.
And wins win you the PL Title Our defense including goalkeeper have been excellent and they have been giving us chances of winning but we end up losing or drawing many times because our
goal scorers have been misfiring In my opinion, our strikers have been letting down the great work of Cech, bellerin, koscielny, Mert, Moneal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramey, and especially our Assist leader Ozil Mahrez and Vardy in particular have been dynamite this season for Leicester
So far in terms of our Offense only Ozil, and Cazorla have been been of the same quality but they aren't
goal scorers per se If Welbeck, Alexis, Walcott and Giroud can start scoring, then things can
change Hopefully, they can start tomorrow COYG
And I've just listened to Wenger on sky sports talking about the
change in formation, it's because we conceded a lot of
goals to the top teams, oh
so now we can't beat the lower teams, good decision wenger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wenger needs to be sacked period, nothing is going to
change with him in charge, before the first
goal, I knew they were going to score, there was
so much space..
you wont see a cazorla or a xavi losing possession, not only that but they drive the team forward.but unfortunately u hav players like ramsey, who do nt drive the attack like the above two, also he loses possessions sometimes by attempting fancy moves.its sad ramsey gives more importance to style over substance.unfortunately, i feel players like ramsey hav contributed to arsenal's inability... imagine a team like barcelona playing with him, constantly losing posession leading to conceding
goals and
so on.difference is barca's manager wud take them out, while under wenger u r rewarded with the nxt game!!!! i do nt deny he was top notch a season or two back, but now hes a liability imo and need to
change his mentality.even that opportunity he got against tottenham where thought longer before taking a shot thus giving defender time to get to him and take off the ball.i bet if it was cazorla, arsenal wud hav scored...
For example during the Chelsea game Welbeck and Chambers should have seen red,
so does Ivanovic.During the Man utd game Wilsher should have seen red and there was an offside call that went Arsenal's way.During the Stock game, that fourth
goal was not offside but it was given to Arsenal, which
change the whole game for Stock. And again on the same game Adam should have seen red.On QPR a clear penalty is not given for qpr.
Secondly, Wenger needs to become far more flexible when it comes to his formation selections... remember this is the same individual that hadn't used a 3 - back system for 20 years and only conceded to the experiment when the proverbial shit hit the fan... you know it killed him to adopt «Conte's» system, which is probably why he resisted
so long; in fact his stubbornness to adjust even earlier might have cost us the 4 hole... much like most sports that have tactical formations, every team should have a «base» offensive and defensive scheme, but they likewise need to have some inherent flexibility depending on the opposing teams tactics and / or when specific substitutions are made... how many times have you watched a Wenger - run team make a late substitution but not
change their shape on the pitch... furthermore, how many times have you seen our team fail to make the necessary adjustments at halftime due to Wenger's tactical stubbronness, which often led to giving up
goals in the early minutes of the second - half... the best teams in the world know how to make halftime adjustments whereas we always seem to be surprised when the opposing team throws a wrinkle into the mix following halftime... this my friend is soccer 101
My best read of the situation was that VAR said it was a foul, but started outside the box
so not a PK and not «reviewable» in
changing to a free kick instead of a
goal kick.
Well its not like we havnt been done in by these type
goals so its time the luck went out way for a
change.
Giroud ooo Giroud, i think he has been the missing ingredient for a team that has been doing
so well without him, he allows the team to
change its attacking style with his physical presence in the box, one thing of vast importance for the Giroud situation to work at its optimum is Ozil must not be content on being only the provider of
goal opportunities but must become a finisher of those opportunities by playing closr to Giroud and finishing in the box when crosses are provided, which he actually has been doing.
Like yesterday was as low as it gets for me as fan I didn't even care when Liverpool got 3 rd and fourth
goals because we're dead our pride as fans is same as players we're just dead hurt, sad, weak and spineless then it gets better ox is going Chelsea today and now timers sanchez has put in transfer request haha when board said
change they meant it
change as in we're selling all players and we're going like Aston Villa laugh u mite we are rotten from top to da bottom and it will get better cause I bet by Thursday we will bring in nobody and promote young kids we mite chance van diik he's going for 60 million and by Thursday night sky sports will report arsenal came in with last min bid of 21 million for van diik it got flat out laughed at
so at 1 min to 11 we came in again with bid of 27 million and add ons til 2029 its hard and it is only beginning haha ox starts at anfield and was shambles and he is sold today says a lot about wenger if that was me I'd say stay away till ur sold u little traitor thanks ox hope its worth it, loyalty me behind ahwell we still bellerin another little man and heart holding for Barca ahhhh I'm
so mad we need Simeon's cum in and start bouncing heads off da canvas Jesus bring bk George graham at least we have defence??
Kinda makes sense though, the only reason people are asking for another CDM is because we all fear the possibility of injury to coquelin and know flamini is usless, beilick is inexperienced
so it begs the question what happens if an injury where to occur, but wîth how many midfielders we have in the squad i think it could allow us to
change a tactical approach and potentially experiment with people like Ramsey and Wishere potentially playing a deeper role??? But the striker is a must as i mentioned earlier Giroud went 8 games without scoring a
goal and none of the other strikers stepped up to the plate, we cant have a drought of
goals when your the quest for titles...
