Yes it's an open league this season, but wasn't that the case the previous three seasons, what with all the managerial
changes at the big clubs?
I also have to mention all of the managerial
changes at the big clubs over the last few years, because that has been a huge advantage for Wenger, especially considering every player is HIS signing.

Treasurer Scott Morrison confirmed
at his speech to the National Press

changes were off the table and revealed Australians should expect only «modest» income tax relief in this year's budget, describing budget repair as a «Test match, not a Twenty20

At big clubs the football style
changes in difficulty and class, some players just don't fit.
Being still in the Carabao Cup and with West Ham up next you would have to say that this looks our best chance of a trophy but it is the least prestigious of all and may not appease too many Arsenal fans who have been asking for
big changes at the
club.
Whether we like it or not there are major
changes happening
at Arsenal Football
Club, quite a lot of it behind the scenes, but there is also
big things going on with the team on the pitch.
Sanchez wasn't happy
at getting substituted because he just scored a goal and probably wanted to score more, its now Wenger's job to make him understand why the
changes was made and he have to live with it as he's not
bigger than the
club.
In football there's competition and
at a
big club like AFC there's going to top quality competition so if they guy doesn't play quit crying and say omg we need to
change his position now.
Kroenke knows nothing about football therefore has no regard for the game, the players or the nonce to know when to
change a manager let alone who would be an asset
at taking the
club forward and to where it needs to go to compete with the
Big Boys in the league or Europe for that matter.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this
club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate
at this juncture they should take a good long look
at themselves in the mirror because they are a
big part of the problem... no other «
big»
club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a
changing of the guard
at every major
club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «
big»
clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these
clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our
club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the
biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this
club and start anew
I personally believe that Wenger didn't push to have the contracts of Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey and Ox renewed earlier because he was going to use it as leverage when renegotiating his own deal... so far that tactic has backfired as we know little more about this squad moving forward than we did in May and Wenger clearly misjudged just how important his staying would be to both Sanchez and Ox... I like Lacazette, but I liked him a lot more 2 years ago
at 20 million less... Sead might come good but once again he wasn't a necessity buy, except that he was a free transfer and was signed early... another «wag the dog» tactic employed by the powers that be... as for the rest of the roster, very little has
changed, except that it's way too
big and lacks the cutting edge to take this
club to new heights.
The charismatic manager is believed to be one of the major reasons for stars such as Reus wanting to stay where they are and there are likely to be some
big changes at the
club this summer.
ARSENAL need to look
at this and make
changes, we are a
club that should be
bigger than 1 man and as such we need multiple men to compliment each other.
Simply wouldn't happen
at some other
big clubs where the fans would stick together and force
change.
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this
club even worse than
at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than
at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real
change to occur
at this
club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the
big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
Big big changes needed at this club and fast before we get so far behind there's no coming ba

big changes needed

club and fast before we get so far behind there's no coming back!
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years of his managerial career
at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this
club... there have been numerous managers
at each of the
biggest clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective
clubs... of course that doesn't mean that
clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if
clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a
changing of the guard... in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football
club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the best, do you place the best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately
changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state of Denmark
The spurs will finish above us and are likely to win the FA cup and that will be the cause for necessary
changes at arsenal.The
club needs to bring
at least two
big name players and we are good to go
Yes — I don't really understand AFCON — not only is it held
at least twice as often as other
big international sporting events, and sometimes more, if they decide they want to
change the schedule, to not interfere with something else (not the players
club obligations, who pay their wages, perish the thought), but it is always held
at the peak of the league season, as they say it maybe raining in summer, which I also don't get, as it rains here all the time — I'm sure there are parts of Africa which have reasonable weather during the summer — it's a
big continent — South Africa must be fairly clement
at that time.
With the ways the other teams are shaping up: 1) New managers in EPL with quite the success (Pep, Klopp, Conte & possibly Mourinho) 2)
Big money not afraid to spend And looking
at the way the
club, are lovely Arsenal they're playing for are doing: 1) Wenger not showing any sign of
changing his approach on the market 2) Lack of accountability & ambition
at every level Delaying there contract resigning for themselves is the smartest thing they can do!
The identity of the fourth signing has yet to be revealed, but in a summer in which the «Special One» is overseeing
big changes at the
club, it is more than likely to be another high - profile player as opposed to Lozano who would be a risk
at this point given that he's still raw and yet to prove himself
at a high level.
which is the opposite of Spanish
big 2
clubs where they do have inexperience managers but their supporting them with players recruitment and they always wins something
big within 2 years. The only hope i have is behind the scene
changes towards next season i mean sven and Sanllehi and wenger to leave Arsenal
at the end of this season otherwise is not gonna work because of chemistry
The only striker that thrived
at Arsenal in the last 10 years was Van Persie and he soon realised that in order for him to compete for the
big prizes he had to move on.30 odd goals for Manure the first season he is there and he wins them the league. With the form he was in and the team that he led in his last season it needed 2 - 3 players and we could have won the title ourselves but that was Wenger and nothing has
changed for the positive since. We WILL NOT win anything
big all the time he remains
at the
club
The man has
changed out of recognition from his early years et the
club.It is my opinion he has allowed himself to feel as though he is
BIGGER than the
Club. This especially so since that dark day of David Deins departure. He seems to believe he is untouchable and answerable to nobody. The Board were s *** ing bricks he would walk away and to my mind he used this to get his own way with everything.I have met this man on numerous occasions down the years of his time
at the
club and honestly he is the most polite and well versed Manager in Football. That is why I despise him more.He KNOWS he has failed this last decade. He knows he has made far too many wrong decisions with transfers and tactics and formations etc.But he NEVER accepts he is wrong.
being positive or negative wont affect team
at all, but will affect us fans, if someone is passionate about
club of course he will be negative, he is hurth, we bleed while players and managers get their pockets
bigger and
bigger, your positive atitude wont
change that, it will
change how you feel.
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a
big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly
changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their
club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the
club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the
club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this
club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming in, the very culture of this
club needs to be
changed and that starts
at the top... in order to
change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this
club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the
big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make
big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
So after all the promises of
big changes at Arsenal when the
club pretty muc h ignored all the complaints from us fans as we made it clear that we did not want Arsene Wenger to be given a new contract and that we were tired of our
club's transfer timidity and the happiness of the owner and board to just make money, what do we get?
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look
at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this
club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the
club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a
club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and
change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality
at the striker position falls once again squarely
at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this
club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market
club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a
big market
club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling»
club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has
changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame
at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
you know its funny how things
change so fast cech was a backup
at chellsh $ t welbz was manures scape goat le coq was loaned to a championship
club monreal our scape goat ramsey was more than awful last season ozil was anonymous in the
big stage cazorla was out of form in the first part of last season now walcott is the lone striker ozil is our leader ramsey is on the wings cazorla is
at cm le coq has been accorded the most important role thats winning midfield battles all of a sudden we are invincible
Whatever your beliefs are regarding the intentions of this
club moving forward, don't think for a second that it has to do with appeasing the fans, winning the highest honours and / or
changing the stagnant culture that permeates this
club... every decision is made for one sole purpose and that is to maintain the delicate balance between Kroenke's unyielding need to acquire more wealth and Wenger's fragile psyche, which is why we have this ridiculous wage structure that pays deadwood too much and makes it incredibly difficult to attract special players... personally I believe that Wenger's greatest fear isn't that he won't win a
big trophy again but exposing himself to the overwhelming criticism he will face when people discover the totally dysfunctional state of affairs that exist
at Arsenal due to his antiquated practices which have gone relatively unchecked and unchallenged since the departure of Dein
Trust me I'm one of the
biggest fans of Wenger and honestly believe he has been let down by his players but something has to
change and I do believe his loyalty to the players is too strong and the longer he stays
at arsenal the more his fantastic legacy is being tarnished so for both his sake and the
club's sake I think he should look to build a legacy elsewhere think he still has a lot to offer ps why not the England national team... probably knows English football better than anyone else
Wenger is the face of Arsenal FC he runs the
club from the bottom to the top.Yes the owner and board are to blame of course they are but Wenger is the
BIGGEST problem
at Arsenal. It's because of his stubbornness, arrogance and crappy ego that Arsenal is where it's today. The 1st and most important
change at Arsenal would be with Wenger without a doubt.
Ever since they paid
big money for Falcao they
changed there financial structure to a more self sustaining structure like ours
at A.F.C. if anything they have become a selling
club since the
change James Rodriguez, Bernardo Silva and I'm sure alot more off this season's title winning side will be sold to the highest bidder.
Fans have to make a choice btw personalities in kroenke and wenger and ARSENAL FC the
club that will always be there long after we are all gone and the two tyrants gone... i thought pple in England as the world oldest democracy embrace
change in society as critical but am surprised to learn that there are fans in this grt nation that are lovers with the status quo
at this
club present
at the heart of london... we were once a
big club but we're not a
big club anymore!!!
My point was the help PG got from the groundwork laid by Cruyff in
changing the
club set - up and structure, creating a new team mentality, imposing a style of play and NOT getting sucked in to the
big spend philosophy by developing players (Xavi, Messi, Valdes, Puyol and Iniesta were in their prime but still had been
at the
club for a combined total of 35 years by the time he was appointed).
It's not likely that Van Dijk will

big on the Soton star.

Big change is needed
at this
club, from top to bottom but I fear itl be a long time coming while the greedy yanks have got it in a stranglehold, Usmanov and Dein are our only hope,
«We know that is not enough (to finish second) because when you look
at the players we have in the team we expect to win something, but we want to win all three games and then in the summer see if there are any
changes in the

changes because always in
big clubs players come in and go.
Everton have been thee class act in recent weeks, with David Moyes» men not only producing the sort of form which is likely to bring welcomed attention to the
club for a
