education's role
in global development, because it has a catalytic impact on the well - being of individuals and the future of our planet.
Researchers looked at 67 schools where Mr. Hornbeck's
education - reform plan was piloted last year and found that,
in general,
changes were taking hold and were viewed favorably by those involved.
While the government is no longer forcing every school to convert, the
general direction of travel hasn't really
changed — the Department for

in favour of schools becoming academies, particularly as part of a multi-academy trust (MAT).

in 2015, eLearning not only has taken the enterprise training world by storm, but the LMSs have also
changed how we approach

Another possible

in Indiana addresses a unique need for some students with disabilities; one piece of a bill moving through the
general assembly would allow private school students to attend the Indiana School for the Deaf.
If current law stands and the
General Assembly does not fund enhancement teachers or make other
changes this January, local school districts will have to begin drawing up plans to comply with the mandate that include the following scenarios, they say: increase class sizes
in grades 4 - 12; cut or displace arts, music, PE and special
education classes; reassign students to different schools to alleviate crowding; and,
in some cases, eliminate or displace Pre-Kindergarten.
Chris Keates,

in under Michael Gove when he was
education secretary - had been driven by «political imperative», rather than the needs of young people.
