I made this tonight, and while I usually make all sorts
of changes to recipes, this one was perfect just as is.
I made a few subtle
changes to the recipe from the book, using lemon juice for a light tart flavor to pair with the sweetness from the apple cider vinegar.
Some long - time Merrick customers seem to be unhappy
with changes to recipes the company has made in the last two or three years.
The
main changes to the recipe is to replace self - rising flour with regular flour and baking powder, and the addition of poppy seeds.

I can't take credit for this recipe I adapted it from another lovely blog «Relatively Unique» I just made
minor changes to the recipe by adding lemon zest, it goes so well with blueberries, and few more blueberries.
