It's a great overall title, but one of the biggest draws is the customization; you can
change everything from the color of your mech, shape and size of it, as well as
weapon loadouts.
It's only when you hit the switch button and
change over that you can then read that role's perks and
weapon loadout.
For one,
weapon loadouts have
changed pretty dramatically.
Multiplayer hasn't
changed too much between the two games but this time it benefits from Andromeda's fine tuned combat and cover systems as well as
weapon and kit
loadouts.
They all have their own look, personality, and
weapon loadout,
changing how you would normally engage in combat.
As far as combat is concerned, gunplay is not dramatically
changed, other than
weapon loadouts.
If the Lancer was retired there could be a fuss given the
weapon's iconic nature in the series, but the exact same
loadout used and presented in the same way on the same units versus the same opponents in a mode fans have been using for years with no
change?
Aside from that, there were some nice quality of life
changes with the HUD including your selected Striker indicator is now moved from the bottom of the screen to above your
weapon loadout.
What's worse is that you can't
change your
weapons and gear between matches without leaving the lobby — so if you find yourself in a good streak of matches and don't want to leave, you can't touch your
loadout at all.
Fixed an issue where players were receiving large
weapon ammo when downing an enemy with a melee
weapon after
changing to a pistol - only
loadout.
Pros: - Sniping is authentic, with concern to distance and wind - Bullet Cam is pretty awesome, showing off your skills -

weapon loadout can feel like a whole new mission
The customization
changes include every customizable ship now offering two
loadout slots, allowing players to
change each vessel's secondary
weapon, modules and appearance items on the fly in and out of matches.
The
change in class was really cool, I played mainly as Operator, but found Mechanic to also be quite good, I like the money earning system too, great for buying new
weapons for your
loadout, and a huge gratification at the end of each match, especially if you didn't make the top ten players of the match.
