It's the film's signature sequence, which makes the final act all the more frustrating as it can't match up thanks to questionable

The story has problems (
illogical character decisions, poor humour, combination of comedy with monsters) but the presentation (scenery, visual effects, colours) makes you wish you were there.

of character decisions that don't quite strike home, though I guess the get out of jail free card is the fact that everyone's getting more and more pissed as the film goes on.

the character decisions will bother a few people and the conclusion may not be exactly what everyone hopes for or frankly what may not suit the overall movie, but I quite enjoyed the conclusion and would honestly watch a television show with these characters at other events.
