The main
character feels stiff at times and the jump does not always work as you expect.
Some characters feel stiff with excruciatingly slow limbs, easy to evade moves; while the other half is too powerful and agile.

It should
feel exciting to watch these
characters deal with their new powers but there is nothing there to give the actors anything to play with, which leads to
stiff performances from actors I normally admire.
The stalwart and
stiff Mature
feels miscast amidst the rogues gallery of killers, corrupt citizens and compromised
characters but his physicality gives the violent showdown a believable edge of down - to - earth strength and mortality.
Character animations are also
stiff, giving attacks a rather stick - man like
feeling, or conversations a complete lack of believability.
However, putting the style of speech aside my criticism of the dialogue between
characters stands; conversations simply
feel stiff and awkward most of the time, something which will hopefully be sorted out as the series continues.
Between the space - western motif and the interesting
character designs, the narrative first seemed promising, but ultimately ended up
feeling like a squandered opportunity, hampered by
stiff, underdeveloped
characters and a paper - thin plot.
The
characters feel a bit
stiff because the open world setting can make interaction occur very slowly when you're out exploring, but overall become lovable compatriots.
