The upcoming game will feature both a single player campaign, which will allow players to take the role of various
characters at different points in the war, and an online multiplayer mode.
You can play as three different
characters at different points in the game, each struggling personally and professionally.
20th Century Women in particular features three distinct female
characters at different points in their lives, which Gerwig says is rare.

The film is episodic in nature, alternating between watching the main
character (presumably Sands)

Each has three
different skill trees — with new ones being unlocked after unlocking
different variations of the
characters — that can be customised
at the start of each playthrough, but not during, providing you have levelled up enough to have enough skill
points.

Russell tells the story well, changing
point of view
at precisely the moment you would like to be in a
different character's head.
I don't want to give any important plot
points away, but
at one
point, after I wrote the same moment through three
different perspectives, I realized that each
character remembers, or pays attention to, what they feel most guilty about in the moment, rather than what was done to them.
As they rave about Stevens» ability to shift back and forth between two voices — the same
character,
at two very
different points in her life — they also provide a plot description:

point in order to meet the development schedule - Sonic Mania doesn't really have much in the way of cut content like scrapped stages - since Sonic Mania was only distributed digitally, the team was able to continue working very close leading up to launch - this let them put in practically all ideas, and there are currently no plans for DLC - Iizuka recommended Flying Battery Zone for inclusion becaues he likes the music - he also likes when the player goes inside and outside the ship - Iizuka likes Mirage Saloon because the stage structure will be
different depending on the player
character chosen - Puyo Puyo gameplay was added because there was a Puyo Puyo game released in the west for the SEGA Genesis - this game was originally called «Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine», and the team thought it would make a fun boss battle - Iizuka didn't have plans to feature Blue Sphere in the special stages - the Blue Sphere special stages were brought over to Mania as a test, but ended up staying for the final game - the team felt the need to continuously connect stages from various eras, which is doe with the Phantom Ruby story - for Sonic Mania, it was decided that the technological limit would be set
at SEGA CD, - this is higher than the Genesis but lower than Saturn - in creating a SEGA CD - grade special stage, they would intentionally make SEGA CD - grade polygons
The game's primary mechanic is difficult to even describe, as Bytejacker
points out — it's kind of like those platformers in which you're controlling two
characters in two
different worlds
at once (e.g. Reflection, Chronos Twins), but significantly
different.

At the start of the game you can select from three
different heads as your player
character, and solving the mystery of who you are and why you're the only human left is one of the major plot
points of the game.
The game also comes packed with the expected customization of your
characters with various guns, grenades, and supplies... again, nothing too extraordinary and
at this
point in time, not even a lot of
different than you've seen in other modern - themed games.
Your
character can also be hired by up to three
different people
at a time, and once you log back in you get whatever gold and experience
points your
character made while partying as a «Support Buddy.»
I'm really glad about the exclusive attacks that each costume has, but Luffy is not a Kung - Fu user, they should stick to his regular «Rubber - Fu» to keep the
character faithful moveset wise, but it's just me, actually KF Luffy could be an alternate TS Luffy with
different attacks like GGn Ufo / Jet Bullet / Jet Hammer / or even my favorite attack Luffy has in his entire arsenal: Eagle Bazooka, and the hypermove could be Elephant Gatling, and Afro Luffy could be an alternate PT Luffy with moves like GGn Hanabi / Tsuchi / Gigant Rifle and the hypermove has to be the «Flail», to mimic he manga
at the
point.
Some of these details include
different forms of transport and a game map which you can drive around; an in - game cellphone for taking pictures; a customizable battle system;
characters that are unlocked
at a certain
point in time and summons that require a team to use since they're so big; and a big role for the council seen invading.
However, it does a great job
at keeping each area feeling fresh —
different goals,
different playable
characters,
different weapons (or lack thereof),
different enemies,
different story,
different points in time in the narrative.
Considering all that's been added, the value
at that
point has grown considerably, and there are further add - ons featuring
characters from other games,
different and extra dice, and more stages as well.
All of the main
characters get their turn in the spotlight
at different points and it really just works.
Each
character will have
different objectives and a
different set of abilities, but it's fair to assume that the various stories will impact each other and converge
at some
point, and it's going to be really interesting to see how, say, Connor's side of the overall story develops if he dies in one of the earlier chapters.
Though they arrive
at similar conclusions, alternative climate narratives may have
different starting
points, as well as
different narrators,
characters, and plots.
The film's desaturated, grubby poster made it look exactly like the torture - porn movies that were already out of vogue
at that
point, but the film itself is something
different — an intimate
character drama about two friends stuck in a backwoods cabin, where something unearthly is stalking them, and gradually making itself known.
