game has Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish support - the Studiopolis stage is included due to receiving the most requests

Sonic Mania development team - Iizuka actually considered reducing the amount of stages at one point in order to meet the development schedule -
Sonic Mania doesn't really have much in the way of cut content like scrapped stages - since
Sonic Mania was only distributed digitally, the team was able to continue working very close leading up to launch - this let them put in practically all ideas, and there are currently no plans for DLC - Iizuka recommended Flying Battery Zone for inclusion becaues he likes the music - he also likes when the player goes inside and outside the ship - Iizuka likes Mirage Saloon because the stage structure will be different depending on the player

character in the
game, aside
from Avatar, which is a player - created
character, and a first for the series.
Along with Modern and Classic
Sonic — who magically appears through a wormhole believed to be the one
from the end of the previous release
Sonic Mania — the Rookie is the third player - controlled
character in the
game.
The story is set in the era of the original
Sonic games, and will feature Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose, all
characters from the first few
Sonic titles.
Peach reappears in the Mario &
Sonic series as a Skill - type
character in the follow - up to the original, Mario &
Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, and a costume of her a Mii can wear can be bought

Sonic Forces, the third

Sonic from Sonic Boom, but instead an «unexpected

Sonic 4 HAS to be a 16 - bit
game; think about it: Mega Man 9 actually went backward in art direction,
from PlayStation to NES style, but they still stayed true to the series»
character designs and story.
In this traditional side scrolling
game you have the option to play one of eight
characters from Marioland (and
Sonic the Hedgehog).
While the
game features a cast of
characters from various anime and manga series», SEGA fans will be interested in the

I'm ok with any style as long as the
game play is the way it used to be in the classic
games and
from seeing the trailer I'm glad to see that
sonic finally proven that he can still live on as the way past cool
character that got me hooked to
games in the first place.
