During the presentation, it was shown that an iPhone, AirPods wireless
charging case, and an Apple
Watch Series 3 could all fit
onto the
charging pad.
Called AirPower, this
charging tech and related pad can
charge the iPhone X, the Apple
Watch Series 3, and the AirPods at the same time, making it possible to
charge all of your Apple devices by tossing them
onto the same spot on your desk (that is, the
charging pad).
You recharge the
watch with a proprietary

onto the back of the device.

Now that Samsung has decided to make full use of wireless
charging (two different standards supported no less) it's easier than ever to simply pop the device
onto a wireless charger and
watch the magic happen.
A smart
watch dropped
onto a peg instantly began to
charge without needing to align any ports.
To recharge there's a
charging cradle included in the box that's a bit fussy to clip
onto the back of the
watch, but we do like the fast
charge being able to pump 25 per cent juice into the device within 30 mins and a full
charge in two hours.
One could, for example,
charge their iPhone, AirPods, and Apple
Watch by dropping them all
onto the same pad.
We're not fans of the charger, which snaps
onto the back of the
watch, but you have to line it up with the gold
charging pins.
