Lets look at the short term CO2 growth rate change due to

of volcanic activity as well as Krakatoa in 1883 I see a VE6 in 1902 and another in 1912 but then none that large until 1991 and I do not remember it being anything like the descriptions
of Krakatoa.
We do not assume any position with respect to global warming except to note in our report that the instrumented
record of global average
temperature has risen since 1850 according to the MBH99
chart by about 1.2 degrees Centigrade, and in the NAS panel report chaired by Dr. North, about six - tenths
of a degree Centigrade in several places in that report.
Therefore from the second half
of the northern hemisphere summer (July - August - September) already a net positive
temperature anomaly is visible from the
chart — so that's the point where the month will start counting for the expected 2014
temperature record.

chart, it would need to increase by 2.54 degrees C. Indeed, the satellite
record shows a trend in
temperature of 0.14 C per decade, for an increase

If we are in a long - term warming trend that will last hundreds
of years more, I'm afraid debates about anomaly
charts, and whether or not a year set a new
record, are mental masturbation — some decades will have warming, other decades will have cooling, but
record high average
temperatures will occur regularly or irregularly while the Modern Warming
temperature uptrend is in progress. . .

Rather than avoid the shenanigans exposed in the
charts and blink gifs I linked, you simply avoided facing the corruption
of the
temperature record — which absolutely supports Anthony's statement that «Instrumental
temperature data for the pre-satellite era (1850 - 1980) have been so widely, systematically, and uni-directionally tampered with that it can not be credibly asserted there has been any significant «global warming» in the 20th century.»
