The standard «behavioral issues» that people see with Weimaraners are many and include such things as
chasing the family cat, barking at neighbors / cars / butterflies, escaping the confines of their yard / crate / kennel run, «separation anxiety» (which is a label for a plethora of things from following their owner
around to the true clinical disorder), obsessive fetching or digging, killing or
chasing small animals, stealing food, eating poop, and on and on it goes.
They don't mind going outside and having fun
chasing you or some poor
small animal around, and at the same time, have no problem with staying indoors either.
Although the Lakeland will be cautious
around people he doesn't know and generally aggressive towards other dogs, and while you simply can't train this little guy not to
chase small furry
animals, Lakelands make gentle, loving companions for those they know and love, especially children.
