As well as being # 70 / $ 100
cheaper than its respectively specced replacement, the new cut price value sees consumers given the chance to join the Apple branded
tablet revolution for around the same outlay as a selection of the less notable and commercially successful
Android offerings.
The
cheapest android tablets are around US$ 60 or sometimes even lower if you grab some limited time special
offers or clearance discounts.
There's a sharp screen, it comes with speakers that
offer impressive volume for a slim
tablet and it's a lot
cheaper than most of the other
Android tablets on this list too.
We'll likely see some retailers
offer deep discounts on
cheaper models (last year, TigerDirect.com led the pack with a $ 5 ProScan 8 GB
Android tablet), while others like Target and Walmart may
offer both iPads and
Android tablets at full price but pair them with sizeable free store gift cards.
