Unlike Sony, who during the course of the PS3 generation regain its footing thanks to strong releases and
cheaper versions of the console Microsoft has only done one of those things.

I appreciate that Nintendo's online service will be much
cheaper than Microsoft and Sony's
versions, but we won't be getting the sort
of recent releases gamers are given on those
consoles in Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus, there are far far fewer games to play online (and generally, the online experience on Switch is much lower quality), and Microsoft and Sony have features such as the incredibly generous ability (/ sarcasm) to backup your game saves (to USB at least) available as standard.
There are better,
cheaper LaserDisc players available, there are easier ways to play better
versions of most
of its games and even a set
of all the
console's exclusives together would not justify the cost
of this system.
It is not as full featured as the
console or PC
version (and the same experience can be had for much
cheaper on a phone or tablet), but it does provide the fun experience
of managing a farm and watching it grow.
But virtually all Nintendo
consoles can play an emulated
version of this game for
cheap.
Not the
cheapest the game has ever been available for but one
of the lower price we've seen this year, the
console version of Overwatch is currently reduced down to # 32.99 at Amazon UK.
It's one
of the
cheapest prices we've seen for the
console version, and at the time
of writing these Special Edition listings works out
cheaper than the best offers for a standard copy.
I got the RCA
version of the
console, because it was considerably
cheaper.
So let me get this straight: Your company is circling the drain, your latest
console was a flop, your first - party software comes out way too infrequently and even when it does it's not nearly as good as it used to be, and all you've really got going for you is an awkward, no - one - ever - mentions - wanting - one hand - held gaming device that does 3D at the expense
of having graphics one could even possibly call modern in 2013, and so you decide to spend your time building a new
version of said hand - held system which does not do that unique 3D feature and instead is big, ugly, clunky and only $ 40 USD
