It's a very nice
cheese bread and next time I make it I'm going to
use fresher dried herbs, as ours are embarrassingly ancient, and maybe
use an even sharper
cheese, just to amp everything up.
I
used to make this with half parmesan
cheese and half seasoned
bread crumbs but that would send my husband to the washroom for the better part of a day so I make it with ground almonds now.
I grated the onion for the aroma without an overpowering flavor,
used soy
cheese (allergies) and homemade whole grain gluten free
bread (celiac disease.)
Spread your favorite basil pesto on two store - bought whole wheat naan
