Preheat oven to 350 F.
Roll goat
cheese log in pistachios and cranberries to coat.
Slowly
roll your sticky
log of goat
cheese in the walnuts and dried cranberries, making sure to coat it well.
You can also
roll it into
logs like typical goat
cheese.
Since this batch was going to be used on a pizza, I did not go through that trouble but if you plan on bringing it to a wine and
cheese night lets say, then you could
roll it out in some plastic wrap and you can even add some cracked black pepper, dried or fresh herbs, or cranberries to the outside of the
log.
Roll the
cheese between 2 pieces of wax paper to form a
log.
Russell showed us a couple ideas: goat
cheese logs (one
rolled on chives, the other in pepper), and bleu
cheese made with a spirulina swirl.
To prepare, simply
roll plain Goat
Cheese log in chopped, fresh chives and diced fresh red chili pepper or red bell pepper, and top with Olive Oil.
With clean hands, slice a 4 oz
log of goat
cheese into 1/2 inch slices,
roll into a ball and shape into a football shape.

roll up into a
log; gather
log into a ball.

cheese log in salted and toasted sunflower seeds then drizzle with sweet honey when you are ready to serve.
