Serve the chicken and sauce
over your noodles (or zoodles) right away OR ALTERNATIVELY... if you are using the «
cheese» recipe, transfer the
pasta, chicken, then sauce into a casserole dish and spoon some
of the «
cheese» on
top
Kale and other hardy bitter greens often get sauteed with bacon, garlic, and chili flakes and then served
over polenta or
pasta with a couple
of fried eggs and sometimes some
cheese on
top.
In this dish I just used a sprinkle
of nutritional yeast
over the
top for a little extra flavor — similar to the way one might use parmesan
cheese flakes
over a
pasta dish after it's plated.
Buy some chile - flavored
pasta at your favorite gourmet shop, cook it up, sprinkle olive oil
over the drained
pasta, and
top with a grated chile
cheese of choice.
Combine the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan
cheese and the breadcrumbs and sprinkle evenly
over the
top of the
pasta.

I poured the blue
cheese sauce
over riccioli
pasta and
topped with a brunoise, which is a blend
of similarly - sized and shaped diced vegetables (I used orange bell peppers, crimini mushrooms, zucchini, jiacama and carrots).
1) I sliced my chicken raw and heated in a skillet; its quicker 2) I used a 12 oz box
of TriColor Rotini 3) I used 1 cup buttermilk instead
of 2 % 4) I left out the green chiles 5) I tossed together chicken, bacon, and
pasta in dish, then made
cheese sauce separate and poured
over top and mixed in.
Remove ribs and stems from kale / Cook in large pot
of boiling salted water, uncovered, just until tender, 5 to 8 minutes / Remove kale from water with tongs, chop and add to onions, along with cooked lentils / Bring the kale - cooking liquid back to a boil, add
pasta and cook for recommended time until al dente / Drain
pasta, reserving about 1 cup
of the cooking liquid / Add
pasta to lentil, onion, kale mixture along with 1/3 to 1/2 cup
pasta cooking liquid / Cook
over high heat, tossing together for a minute or two / Add salt & pepper to taste /
Top with grated parmesan
cheese and serve.
When I served the vegan beet
pasta, I added dollops
of the cashew
cheese all
over the
top and let it melt into all the nooks and crannies
of our favorite twisty noodles.
Arrange 3 noodles
over pasta sauce;
top with half
of cheese mixture and one third
of remaining
pasta sauce.
Combine the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan
cheese and the breadcrumbs and sprinkle evenly
over the
top of the
pasta.
Allow 1 or 2 minutes for the
cheese to melt
over the
pasta, then
top with a generous amount
of black pepper.
