cherry tomatoes, the chopped cilantro, the sunflower seeds and the orange zest, and combine the ingredients very well; add another pinch of salt if needed, and set the mixture aside for a moment, keeping warm.
This year the
season seems to
be stretching on and on, and I couldn't
be more pleased as while sweet
cherries make some fine snacking, sour
cherries win all prizes
in baking.

'm totally with you that British
cherries in season are absolutely best eaten fresh and unadultured, but yeah, sometimes you somehow forget a bag and then this would
be a great way to use them up when not quite at their best.
I refuse to bake with the likes of
cherries, raspberries and strawberries until they
are in season as you won't
be experiencing their flavour to the fullest and to me you'll just
be wasting your money.
Think: quinoa, cucumbers, carrots, black beans, and, when they
