chicken was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Place shredded
chicken back into the pot, add sesame seeds, mix with sauce, and let cook for an additional 30 minutes

One tip I discovered a while
back for easily shredding
chicken — remove boneless
chicken pieces from crock pot & put in bowl of stand mixer; using flat beater, turn
on low for a minute or two to quickly shred
chicken, then pop
back into crockpot & mix
back into sauce.
Add
chicken back to the skillet, add pesto, stir to coat
on low - medium heat until the
chicken is reheated, 1 or 2 minutes.
From the plate, add the
chicken and sausage and their juices
back to pan
on top of rice.
If you cook this in the crock pot your best bet would be to leave the lid off for the last hour with it
on high, or if you want it to go faster then take the excess liquid out, boil it down in another pot
on the stove and put it
back in with the
chicken for serving.
I went heavy
on the mushrooms in this
chicken stroganoff because I adore mushrooms, but feel free to scale
back.
When I cut
back on apple juice, I replace the difference with water or
chicken / veg broth.
