If you like, you can make this with
chicken stock as well, but the turkey stock has a wonderful richness to it.
It was simply delicious and a very nice change from the flavor of basic tomato soup using
chicken stock as the base.
Add
chicken stock as needed to achieve desired thickness.
I was a little worried after I added
the chicken stock as it seemed thin, but I blended it up with my stick blender and it is smooth and creamy but not too heavy.
I also used water and
chicken stock as liquids, and added some sautéed spicy Italian sausage at the end to make it even heartier.
Use vegetable stock or
chicken stock as you prefer.
Check every 15 minutes, turning shanks and adding more
chicken stock as necessary.
I deglazed the pan with a splash of sherry, then cooked the potatoes in
chicken stock as recommended.
I just gave
chicken stock as an option for those who may not have vegetable stock (and who aren't vegetarians).
Didn't put any butter in with the bok choy, and used tofu in place of cod and vegetable stock instead of
chicken stock as I wanted this a vegetarian dish.
I love making it with
chicken stock as well, but use water when I serve the quinoa in a dairy based meal (a kosher rule not to mix meat and dairy dishes in one meal).

chicken / high temp for an hour then let it naturally depressurize let cool then refrigerate overnight take the grease layer off following day
as it will congel on top its easy to remove then warm it back up to liquify and put it into ice cube trays mix 17 ice cubes (1 cup) too 1 or 2 cups water depending on strength you want the best

Add the

All I really wanted to make was
chicken stock, but this recipe from Kitchn called for the bones from a roast
chicken, so I thought I might
as well do that first.
This way, we will eat the
chicken straight away in the
stock with some vegetables (I often throw some chopped veggies, sometimes from the freezer, into the pot for the last 20ish minutes) for an easy meal, then have a whole pot of meat
stock left over for more soups and for drinking from a mug, and sometimes we have

As it cooks the mole will thicken, If the consistency its to thick add more
chicken stock, little at the time, you want a creamy consistency, that will cover the back of a spoon.

My food processor broke, so I made this recipe even easier — same ingredients

You can cook it with
chicken stock if you like or just plain water, which is what I do many times
as well.
Add the
chicken stock and black - eyed peas,
as well
as enough water to completely cover peas if necessary.
The
stock may take on a yellow tinge with pieces of
chicken or pork / rabbit floating up, the celery will be very limp,
as will the chiles.

as you want well in advance - just use1 part quinoa to 2 parts liquid (I like to use

A note on
chicken stock: Most
stock powders are very high in salt and not much else so look for a ready to use liquid variety with
