feeling like you are letting the
child and in some cases the mother down.
In many cases, resentment can also build between parents — one parent
feels like they have to shoulder the
burden of holding the
child accountable, or being the «bad guy,» while the other
feels like the
child doesn't listen to them.
Everyone has to make the decision for themselves, and for me,
feeling like my
children were a blessing and not a
burden on my breasts was the right choice.
Some women are unable to breastfeed (and some women choose not to, but I'll get to that later), and constantly
burdening them with unnecessary guilt and making them
feel like their
children are missing out on what's «best,» can be painfully discouraging for a new mom.
