Talking to
your children about drug abuse is rarely, if ever, easy, but it's crucial.
Opioid overdose and death are a real threat for teens experimenting with drugs, so parents must take every opportunity to talk with
their children about drug abuse.
There are numerous resources, many right in your own community, where you can obtain information so that you can talk to
your children about drugs.

While the US Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) had earlier stated that BPA — the chemical that hardens plastics in products like bottles and cups, and is used in linings of metal cans — is safe; the agency announced last month that a few new studies have underlined «some concerns»

about (like kids with allergies and asthma getting their hands on certain foods, the host taking the kids in a car without a car seat, a backyard trampoline, alcohol /
drugs left around the house, playing in the front yard abutting a very busy street, etc. etc. etc.) It's just meant to talk
about your
child's preparedness for being away from mom and dad.
Talk With Your
Children These tips from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
about preventing teen binge drinking can also help with preventing use of marijuana and other
drugs.
But parents can be influential by talking to their
children about the dangers of using marijuana and other
drugs, and remain actively engaged in their
